Ingredients:
4 squares baking chocolate
2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1.25 cups flour
chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
preheat oven to 350 degrees
melt the butter in a saucepan
add the chocolate and heat until melted (taking care not to burn it)
remove from heat
add the sugar, mixing thoroughly
add the eggs
add the vanilla
once they are mixed thoroughly, add the flour and salt
pour batter into a _greased_ 9"x9" pan
cook for ~30 minutes at 350 degrees, until a cake tester shows gooey crumbs
before the brownies cool, pour chocolate chips on top and spread throroughly
as they melt.
wait until cool, and cut.
